Called in today and spoke to a credit analyst and with a soft pull i got a cli increase of 120.00 not much but its something esp being for a softpull

thats weird. in nov i also got a $120 CLI... maybe in Feb they'll give me a better one >_<

well you guys are lucky i cant seem to get a CLI from them but i can get a amex??? go figure maybe ill call and threatin to cancel the account

Whats crazy is we were just talking about the account in general and she says I can try and get you a CLI so I was like why would she tell me that without me asking, then i asked if it was a SP or HP and she said that she could try to get a CLI with the info they have on file and if not they would have to do a HP. That was followed by a 120 CLI with a SP. She also said call back in 6 months to try for another

I called them today and asked for a CLI, they said they would have to pull my credit and see. I asked if it would be a HP or a SP and the customer service rep couldn't tell me. So I told them not to move forward and tried calling the backdoor line. I basically got the same answer from them, they told me that the is no way fro them to know if they'll be doing a HP or a SP its all automated and I guess depends on whats in the credit file.

Last November I called the number on the back of the card and got a CLI from 500 to 800 (this was the first initiated CLI I've gotten and I called several times prior to this). The next day I decided to call the HSBC backdoor, agreed to a hard pull on EQ and got a new CLI to 1500. I knew my fico was pretty good (mid 700s), so a couple of hours later I reconed again and eventually I got it up to 3000.

It started off with a 300 CL no AF over four years ago, but my credit has improved drastically since then.

So in my opinion if you have one of these so called "plan B" BBRZ MC but have good credit, you're willing to take a hard pull and you want a decent CLI, talking to a credit analyst may be the only way to get one.
