AMEX 30 DAY ReAPP Question

Quick silly question. I know that it is recommended to wait 60 days for reapping AMEX but I feel really good about my progress on my EXP score ( should be almost identical to my current Trans and EQ scores after getting all the same info on all 3 reports...so 690ish), so I want to ReAPP after 30 days. I applied on December 23rd, was declined, and then recon'd and I guess that was done on the 27th according to the letter they sent me, though app status says the app is still from the 23rd. Should I wait reapply on the 23rd or should I wait until the 27th?

What application/decision date from last month shows when you look on~line at your AMEX application status ?

I would try it on the 23rd ( assuming that it showing the 23rd ) , i believe that AMEX will auto~cancel your app if you apply before the end of the 30 day window......

It says the 23rd. I guess I will end up waiting after the 23rd anyway so that my CC's update another month of low util%, but I just wanted to be sure just incase I get antsy. So if I apply on the 23rd and for some reason it is auto canceled, will it HP? And will I still be able to apply on the 27th? Thanks for the response!

IMO you should be good on the 23rd. But if you want to be 100% certain just wait until midnight, when the clock switches to the 24th.

If AMEX was to cancel your app I don't think they would pull your credit, but you would be ok to try again on the 27th~ but again this is just my opinion, I don't know this with certainity....

Not to be too silly, but what difference does a week make?

Wait until 01 February, and then you'll KNOW that your previous app won't affect you.

Well, my birthday is on the 26th, so I want to do it around then......though it could potentially ruin all birthday festivities.
