I couldn't find much information when I was looking for it for this card so I'll put my little bit of information in here.

I applied for the PNC Cashbuilder card. I received an instant decision that I was approved. I received an e-mail that I was given a credit limit of $5,200 and was "upgraded" to a visa signature. After the card arrived I saw that my apr was 13.99% which is one % above the lowest the website says it can go. My Experian score was 731 when I was approved(January 8, 2012). I have put about $5,000 of charges on the card and have already made almost ninety dollars in cashback. The thing I like most about it is that the cashback posts about a day or two after the purchase. Instead of waiting until the end of the cycle like some other companies. Also when making a payment to the card it posts that day as well, so everything is pretty fast.

I'm 21 and at the time of applying I had had only a Macy's and Amazon store card reporting. Three of my parents other cards have me as an authorized user and may or may not have helped my score. The cards are, Discover, Home Depot store, and some other I can't remember.

At the same time I applied for a Chase Freedom ($300 cashback!) and American Express Blue Cash and was approved on those. American Express also said my score was 731.About two weeks earlier I was aproved for an Amazon Visa which had my score lower but it went up to 950 so I believe Chase may use their own scoring method.

I have had accounts with PNC for almost four years with, I suppose, a significant amounts of money in them. Whether this helped in their decision or not I do not know.

Also just incase you're wondering all these companies pulled Experian and I live in Maryland.
