I applied for a Chase Slate, was approved......BUT they didn't tell me what my CL was! Is this normal??

Yes it is normal. When i got my freedom card all they told me was that i was approved and i'd receieve my card within 7-10 days. call 888-338-2586 and the automated service should tell you the credit limit and APR

All I got from that phone number was, "You have been approved, and you should receive your card within 7-10 days."

Sooo, guess I'll see what Santa Claus brings!

Basically the Chase card for carrying balances, and BT's if needed for whatever reason.

No rewards, no AF, theoretically easier to get than Freedom / Sapphire though recent anecdotal evidence suggests that may not be entirely correct anymore.

Well, received the card today with a $6,500 CL & 16.99%, not too bad!

not to badd at all. im still stuck at the 100's cl for visas/mastercards and just starting to get 1000's for store cards. i cant wait until the day i have over 1k on a visa or mc or amex lol

I've got a slate but I never use its features as I pay off my balance in full each month. I noticed it was easier to get a higher limit with it probably because they keep expecting me to do a balance transfer.

I just applied, got the "we'll notify you in writting" notice on the website. Called for a recon, was approved for a slate with a $1,000 limit.

I guess $1k is better than $0k, but this will be one of my smallest prime cards.

Any tips on CLI's?

my other cards

$7,500 - Bank America visa

$5,000 - PSECU visa

$2,000 - Old navy Visa

$3,000 - Lowes store card

$1,200 - JC Penny

$3,000 - Discover

$1,100 - Walmart

$1250 - Home Depot (CLD from $2500 for non-use)
