ok guys i got this weird thing with chase lately, so i have a regular Chase visa card i got it awhile back and had a $400 limit well about 2 weeks ago i asked for a CLI to $1500 then got denined that and they put it to $700 instead well since i got approved an amex card i felt risky so i applied for a Chase Trump card
now they gave me that 5 days i should hear back crap and today i logged into my Chase account and saw that the new card was listed on my account and for $2000 CL, so I was thinking maybe some of you guys with a low chase CL could apply for that and let me know what happens

I just apped a freedom card and was approved..will it show up or do I have to add it?

i will update you with CL when I know what it is..if you want?

I just checked and it is there now. 9200CL

funny part is I had a bk7 in 2001 and I dontpass the questions they ask prior to apping and they still give me love...LOL

not me had to phone recon beg 300 cli to 500 to upgrade bp stor card to visa. glad they think you walk on water!

I have a mortgage with them and a 0 balance HELOC for 100K. I wonder if that maters? Do you have any other accounts with them?

nope, but recently been getting propoganda for auto and home refi's. i just converted the bp visa to starbucks. i haven't had the account for a year yet, so i'll wait untill it goes over the year mark and see if they auto cli at all.

I've had luck with Chase in getting CLIs. CSRs aren't empowered to make decisions beyond the push of a button. But if you request someone in credit dept. I had them manually review my cbr report on two separate occassions. One time it was because they performed a reduction from 800 to 600 and they reversed the decision and increased it to 1000. The second time they bumped it up to 2,000. That was about a month ago. I wish amex had someone who could manually review the account. The only thing they can do is push a button. It HAS to be approve dby the system.

no amex has a credit department that you can talk to. but if you do manual with them they usually need to do HARD vs the system does softs.
