NFCU concierge service?

So I just noticed my new NFCU Platinum card has a 'Concierge Service' link. Anyone used it? I didn't even realize that was part of the card's benefits until now.

I just took a look. It looks really nice! Great perk. It's kind of like an Amex without high AF.

BTW, They're telling me it's a SP for CLI. And as I recall, you didn't have any HPs for those, did you?

First two times I asked for a CLI (and got denied) it was a HP. These last couple of successful times, they haven't been. I think it's only an HP if they have to manually review it.

Well, nearly went for CLI this morning. Then rep said it could be HP since CC is less than 6 mos old. So, you're probably right about the manual review. She claims that the HP gives them more info than the SP. (?) I guess I'll play the waiting game.

Hopefully others will have the Navy Platinum and info about the concierge service.

How is NFCU overall? I'm thinking of switching to them once my dad gets his financials in order (he's a retired Marine and could sponsor me) as my brick & mortar bank, to accompany my USAA account.

The greatest majority of NFCU members who participate in this forum will sing their praises. I count myself in that group. As always, there will be a few who have had negative experiences.

My personal experience has been that they are extremely generous with credit lines, excellent customer service. I have had an account with them for about 3 years and credit with them for 2 years. My CC started at $14K and with 2 auto CLI's is now at $19.8. One came at 1 year and 1 at 18 months. My overdraft I started at $1K then in a year requested CLI to $5K. Just last fall I requested CLI to $15K. Not Instant approval on them, it took anywhere from 4 hours to 2 days to approve. Last increase was a HP but auto and first CLI were SP.

I am a member of USAA also and use them for insurance and investment, but NFCU is my go-to for credit products.

On the OP's topic. I have not actually used their concierge service but I get their "This is what we can do for you" e-mails and I will assume they are top class like the rest of NFCU customer service.
