Care Credit Question

I applied and got approved for a Care Credit card. I am confused though, I got an alert from Freecreditreport.com, and it shows the new unsecured card, BUT did not show up as an inquiry on my Equifax report. Any idea if care credit does soft pulls for general acceptance purposes?

My understanding is that it's a hard pull under GE Financial.

You might want to check your other reports, it is possible that they might have pulled EX. Or maybe even TU.

Thanks guys. A guy can wish. I was just hit with a huge dental bill, that I CANNOT put off . I had to apply. I am hoping FHA understands it was a medical emergency and not a careless need for credit. I hope it does not derail my chances.

Well it was confirmed, hard pull on Experian. BUT! score went up 8 points with the new tradeline!

They do HP on EQ.

I need some dental work soon, is this Care Credit worth applying for? Do they report to all 3 CRAs?

CareCredit primarily pulls EQ. Possible TU pull couldhave been done as well.

Yes they do report to all 3. They are also AWESOME with CLI's. My initial credit line was $1,000 and was raised to $1800 the same day and $1900 the day after opening. I called in and requested more to cover a large dental bill as well. Thankfully the bill only wound up being half of what was expected, but I already had the card and my dentist gave me 6 months so I took advantage of it.
