I read from one of the posts in this forum it is a good card and they made the user unsecured after 12 months and returned the deposit funds with good interest. I have 16 cards. I dont want to app for any more cards, other wise, I would have gone for this card.

FOUND IT... had to google citi secured mastercard!

$39 annual fee 17% interest

But if I can get back in Citi good graces!!

Application is in .pdf format and is by mail or phone only. I was scratching my head for a minute looking for the Apply Now button.

Thanks for the link.. never saw it before in the 100 times I've visited the site.

If I get denied for one of the cards I've been checking out I will go for the secured. But that's still a good 6 months down the line.

I know Citi hates collection accounts & charge offs...

Does any one know if they will issue a secured card if you have these types of baddies??

I have excellent business credit with Citi for my business. AAA+. My scores are in high 600's reaching 700 soon. They would not give me a personal credit card because I have a paid collection on my CR. Go figure.

Citi and other CC's are a little more lenient when it comes to business cards. Why? I don't know. I have been told this by AMEX and Citi.

Businesses spend a lot of money. I think their reasoning is the potential for more interest.
