New Macy's statement, but no credit limit reported

Artvuzdar or anyone else who's statement recently closed. Did your limit show up on your statement as well or just the credit reports?

Mines just closed and I did not see my limit on my statement that just posted tonight after midnight est. or on CR this morning, but it did have my new near $0 balance on my EX report.

I was hoping my limit would have reported as it would of brought my utilization down.

From what I understand, it'll be a rollout in stages. I believe they're doing ARs as well to determine if the GL will translate into the same CL.

Mine hasn't reported yet either, I checked Experian, Equifax ... Nothing ... My statement closed on 02/02/12

Perhaps they are reporting limits in alphabetical order

I spoke to a rep yesterday and said they should be if not in Feb statement by March statement. My statement closing date is on the 23 so I will keep you posted to see if my CL shows or not . fingers crossed as this would help my UL .

Macys is probably reviewing accounts and credit reports so they can set credit limits on credit cards. I noticed Macys did a soft credit inquiry on my Equifax credit report on January 27, 2012. Did not see my credit limit in my February statement but hopefully in my March statement.

I just checked my last Macy's statement which was cut on Feb. 7 and I didn't see a credit limit either. I wil see around March 7 and report back then. I hope others will do the same as well.

Just checked my last statement that ended today Feb 25 and the credit limit didnt show grrr😠 will have to wait for next statement.

No limit showing on my bill, just my CR's. I'm in NY, not sure if it could be regional?

Maybe, im from NY but macys still hasnt reported this month. We'll see soon.

By CR does that mean the credit bureau is showing the credit limits? I haven't checked my credit reports yet since it won't update until the 27th.

Yes for some. By the end of the year i would assume the limits will be posting on the CRs for everyone.

Just spoke to the rep from macys she assured me that by next statement meaning march they will be showing my credit limit and reporting it to the bureaus.

Hi All,

New to the forums. My wife and I have never been able to figure Macy's out. We've never even known our credit limit though they've allowed us to charge up to $2k. Getting our credit in line this year for a run at buying our first house. Thanks for the info on this, hopefully they will report the limit and increase utilization! Also, side note - same thing happened with our bloomingdales, but a bit different they split our account into limit & revolving. In doing this, they randomly lowered our limit from $5k to like $2k. without telling us. Not sure what's going on but major overhaul it seems..

So Macy's let me charge up to $2K for a while. I was paying in full and using the card a lot but that stopped. For a few months the system would tell me my balance and say I had no available credit. I just paid off a balance of $1,330 and then called. The system says I have $1,000 available credit but that it is not a credit limit. Still says credit limits will be reported in early 2012 and that it will show up on my statement. My statement closes today...I guess I should have waited and posted in a couple of days once I have a new one, huh?
