Best Buy MC - CLI Approved

Got a small increase on my BBRZMC just a few minutes ago. New limit is now $800. Card started at a $300 limit with no AF around July 2010 when I first started to rebuild and repair my credit, then went to $500 about a year or so after that and now $800. Not too shabby I guess. Leaving it open as long as it remains no AF. Woot.

I just now saw the other thread on BBRZMC CLIs. Maybe HSBC is in a giving mood? I did my request online, didnt have to talk to a rep.

Thanks LS. I really did feel like I was going to be stuck at $500 for a long time. Its nice to get a CLI, even if its a small one.

I felt that way too asking for a CLI and i was quite shocked they upped it because i thought i had the plan B card the one with no luv.

This was one of my favorite cards, though getting them to raise the CL was like squeezing blood out of turnip.

I used the card every year to meet the spending requirement for BB's premier silver. I love buying stuff from Best Buy.

@ Open123: That was one of the reasons I liked it (the Premier Silver). I figure I can easily spend that much at BB in a year. Hopefully after gardening for a while, my score will go up enough to get one.

Even better, all your spending anywhere counts towards Premier Silver. So, before a big purchase, spend for your everyday stuff and make the PS threshold. Then, buy your stuff at Best Buy for the extended return, 1.25 points, and all the rest of the perks.

The free shipping on all bb online was nice when they online only sales.

yep i have the gold MC... mine has everything yours has except request increase >_<

If the link doesn't appear, what happens when you call them to request a CL increase? I'd try that since it might just be a glitch.

well i actually called and asked why my button wasn't there. she said no one has the button so i guess she was misinformed... oh well. ill call some time in march and request one >_<

I also just got a CLI from BBRZMC. I called the backdoor number because I don't have the love button under customer service. He asked me about my income and did a soft pull. Same rep was able to help me with my HSBC Platinum Rewards and got me a CLI there with a soft. He also informed me to call back every six months and ask for a CLI. They should be able to do it unless I miss a payment or have high utilization. I haven't missed a payment in 10 years so I'm looking forward to being able to get CLI again with my oldest cards!!!
