Scores from cc apps

I'm sure this question has been asked already and apologies in advanced, but does anyone know how I can get my scores from a recent card app? It was a cap1 card and was approved. They generally pull all 3 and It would be nice to know what the scores are without buying all of them.

Do I call to request them?

I'm not sure about Cap 1 but typically you only get a score if you were approved with less than the ideal rate. For example, if the APR range was 17-22% and you got something other than 17%. Also, even if a creditor pulls your reports they may use an in-house formula to calculate credit risk and not necessarily your FICO scores.

If CapOne didn't give you the most favorable terms on the card, they will list the reasons and what credit scores they used in their decision with the other information that comes with the card. Look through your welcome packet and you'll find the information somewhere. I don't know if they will be FICO scores though, I just got a new Chase card and it came with some FAKO score.

Thanks for all the feedback. I looked through the information and there was nothing in the welcome packet. It just would've been nice to see the scores, but considering the information here on the forums it makes sense that the scores would be presented if you were qualified with a different apr to the original app, and with that I got a pretty nice tl for a first cc.
