If you are eligible for membership, you must have a DDA to get the FICO. They arent local to me (nearest branch is mybe 80 miles), I set up ACH transfers from my main to PSECU.

I only have the $6 membership fee and I've been getting the FICO score. What I'm asking is if I should save with them ( i live in Madison, WI) or is it better to find a credit union that is close to me?

Sorry, posting from work on my phone. Fico with nothing else is a bonus, why not throw them some savings? The only thing about distance banking is immediate access to cash can be a hassle. I wouldnt worry too much about it as long as the rate is decent.

I don't live anywhere near Chicago (I think that's where Alliant is at) and I have my savings with them. When I opened the account the rate was at 1.15% but now I'm sitting at .995% which is still one of the best rates I can find.

To revisit this topic a bit again, are you guys using their Money market account, or is there a different product. I ask because I looked at their rates this morning and it was a 0.30% which seems low.
