Lowering Discover APR

Anyone had any experiences recently, good/bad, getting a Discover More APR lowered? Our account has been opened since late '08 and and has never been paid late. The current APR is 18.9% - when I called to get it lowered the CSR couldn't do it, but did mail me some form to fill out to go to a different department. Anyone know what this form is and what it entails? I don't think I'd send it back if a HP is involved.

$6k CL, current bal $1.1k

I filled out that form and got my APR lowered by 3%. Worth it!

Just an update, I filled out the form and got a reply from Discover today, 2% reduction.

thats odd. i never had to fill out a form. i just called and they transfered me to their salt lake city part each time.

I think I'll have to call Discover today and see about that. I'm at 20.99% right now with a 2K CL. Have had my card since late 2010 I think? Are they open on Saturdays?
