topic Chase Freedom HP or SP in Credit Cards

I've had the Circuit City Chase Visa card, and when the store went out business it turned into a Chase Rewards Visa, and finally it's a Chase Freedom Visa. I recieved the card in 2008, with a CL of 2k. I never tried to request a credit line increase. If I were to try now would it be a HP or SP? I'm in the process of buying a home and I can't have any new inquiries.

I rarely carry a balance with the card. I just get gas and some meals here and there to keep it active. But I've noticed they have decent rewards, so I thought it would use it more often. CLI isn't a big deal to me, but I would like it increased if it doesn't require a HP. But I will call.

Kind of goes in line with what I've heard and experienced, esp lately. Chase likes to HP for CLI requests but at least they usually inform you first. They are rather conservative, maybe more so in the last few years. And they don't hand out auto CLI's very often I guess.
