Why is this soo addictive? I see many on here that are just addicted sometimes I feel like I am and then other times I dont--probably in denial but I have had good control over myself at least i think--i dont think my scores have suffered too bad from it and not recovered---I feel I am in a good spot based on scores and their is really nothing major I need to purchase no time soon--got mortgage refinanced this month and got a new car back in August YEA!!!!!

Also how many credit apps had you completed before you started getting denied for credit b/c of the apps? Are do you ever get rejected

Lastly--what is your score range for those who do app alot--are you in the 500s 600s 700s.....

I'm addicted but stopping for a few months! Since Oct, I have opened 8 new CC's and a new car loan. I haven't been denied for anything yet but I am limited in what I can apply for because of my mailing address. My scores have taken a small hit but I am pulling a report on the 1st to see if everything is reporting.

rubaty u have great scores seem like you can have a little credit score loss and still be ok better than any of us who have scores in 600s or even 500s for that matter--I have gotten a gas card, 3 store cards and 3 credit cards since July 2007 and got a car loan in 08/07 and refinance 12/07 --2 of my scores were around 650s and the other was low 600s but other things were reporting on that report hopefully it has went up cause i had a judgement removed (fingers crossed)

I agree Midnight thats how I felt once I realized my scores were in the 600s and I learned of this forum i was just overly excited and ready to get all I can--not to mention the shocking pre approvals from people like juniper and WAMU that came thru the mail and really offered me great CLs (limits I havde never rcvd in my life P)

MV...you are so right!! I had been through so much since 2001 but hadn't done any apping @ all. Now I just have to wait for the automatic CLI's!

Sounds like you have things going in the right direction! At the end of 2006 all of my scores were in the high 500's but I kept going. Is your EX the lowest? It seems that they are the lowest score for alot of people.

Rubarty actually my lowest is Equifax--they seem to be pulled most on the east coast--at least in some states--actually my Tranunion and Experian is the highest---Experian is the highest and least pulled wish I could find a CC who would pull from that report I might get a good CL
