I can answer some, but not all of your questions. My wife recently became a member (student of a school they work with). I will soon be adding myself as a member and applying for their CC and auto loan. They do in fact do a HP for any account, even her who just got a savings account only. At least they said they would, we haven't checked her report to verify. I don't know about whether or not they will let an AU use the EX FICO, but am curious to know that as well.

Also, I would like to ask if anyone knows what their credit requirements (minimum score, etc) to be approved for the CC and auto loan? Thanks!

Thank you Smug and Jimbo! I actually got an addtional question answered about the requirements! I am desperately trying to just finagle my way in with minimal damage. If I am going to take a HP then I would either not join or join on my own after he is established. We have a tricky situation here anyway. He is a PA resident. I am not. His address is not currenlty in PA of course but his active duty status lets him in so he has to be the one to apply. They told me they won't allow me to do it even with POA, which blew me away! But then again, I understand they are trying to make sure they keep non-residents, etc. out.

i can answer some of the questions. an authorized user can not get their ex score. they hard pull for everything. if you are and authorized user they don't pull your credit at least thats how they did me. i am very pleased with them. i have all of my auto loans with them and i have their visa 20,000.00 limit. i just refinanced my car with them down to a 2.49 interest rate. the only complaint is that they hard pull for everything. if you apply for a auto loan and credit card the same day you will be hit with two hard pulls.

Ok he was in the Sharon, PA area before re-inlisting. So, def. not in that target area. But I did speak with PSECU to verify his eligibility. They confirmed that he is eligible, but as you said, he is the only one eligible. I would only be eligible after he joins. That's why he has to be the one to sign according to them. And of course he will have to provide his information and residency which will be no problem. My joining is really two fold for me. I would love to have a relationship with them for future mortgage opportunities. We have always debated whether we will move there eventually if he gets out or after he retires (depending on what he chooses), since his whole family is there. Then the FICO is a just a bonus until that time.
