Just received our new cards - overnighted by Chase without any request for rush delivery! I am an AU, and this is a signature visa - will this help or hurt my currently too high utilization? Can't wait to use our bonus 50,000 points!

If you already have high utilization this card will most likely hurt you, especially if you never really charge really high and then stay way lower in the future giving you the very high past balance as your Reported CL persay.

But at the same time if you have REALLY High util already and are only auth on this account, I would assume you are working on paying down your cards and until that happens probably wouldn't apply and be approved for other cards anyway so if not currently applying this new account won't matter.... down road if it is the only reason you have high util, it would be something to look at either deleting yourself form or asking to get out of the signature program.

Chase sw rewards visa signature reports a credit limit to all 3 CRAs. It does report as a "flexible spending card" on ex, but still shows a CL of 5000. Therefore, it should help your utilization unless your SO carries a balance.
