New Best Buy Credit Card

So I was approved today for the Best Buy credit card with a $2300 limit, which I used to buy both my wife and I new computers with the 18 month interest free financing.

I was wondering if anyone knew how long it would take them to report my new open card and utilization? I am just curious because I am hoping to apply for one last card in the near future and just kind of wondering how much time I would have until that happens. Thanks everyon!

When I applied they pulled EQ for me

Thanks LS, that should be more than enough time for my last EX baddie to go away. I just want to get in one more CC app before they report this because it will crush my utilization until I pay it off this fall.

Annie, they definitely pulled EQ. It seems they almost always do, but I know they did with me because I have EX and TU frozen, so there is no way they would have approved me otherwise.

HSBC BB is known for pulling EQ. Nice starting limit Jimbo!

Still have that one baddie from afni on equifax need to do dv they are reporting as dofd of july when we know its either decemer04 or march 05 Its the lawst one so keep fingers crossed. WWant to app for BB credit card after auto loan unlike the button happy credit prowlers I'm truly afraid to do anything until cc hits 6 months

Yeah, I'm trying my best. While preparing for this, I typed out an "App Plan" for myself. I will not stray from it. Either way, once I finish the PSECU and/or PNC apps, I am done for at least 6 months and into the garden. I would like to apply for Amex before the year is over though. At that point, all these inquiries will be about 8-9 months old. I hope they don't hold them too much against me at that point.

jimbo two things easy with Amex they are quirkyFrom everything I have gathered you can have great score and still get denied do your homework make sure which ever amex you go for your chance are really really good can always upgrade as they are the Kings of backdating also how do you make covo in blocks never been on a bloggy type site ???

I believe PSECU will do 1 pull for both membership and CC app if you do it on the same day.

Great, I will probably do the PSECU thing, that would be awesome if I could get that.

As for Amex, I will be applying for Zync first. It is the easiest to get and I just want to get my foot in the door. I'm hoping to get them by the end of this year so any future backdating would say 2011.
