All I got was the page with the card stuck to it and several pages with their terms, privacy info, etc. I have thouroughly scanned all of the papers multiple times and there is no FICO to be seen. It looks like it depends on the card you get and the terms you qualify for that determine if you're going to get it.

Could very well be, I got the BCE. So maybe it's that, but I was surprised to see that they had it plastered on the front of the page "We pulled your score, and guess what, it's on the back of this page."

But then again, I got a Chase Freedom with the worst terms, and they never sent me squat.

Many here have said that when you app for an Amex revolver and don't get their best terms, you'll get a letter with your FICO score mailed separately from your card.

My card came on Tuesday. It looks like Costco Amex only has one interest rate, but I only got a $2k limit, so I was hoping that I would get the letter and finally know what my EX FICO is. (It's driving me CRAZY!) I thoroughly looked through the papers sent with my card, and it wasn't there. There were only standard enclosures sent with CCs (rates, privacy notice, etc.).

So, I was wondering about how long after you got your Amex card did you receive your FICO. Was it sent with the interest rates and other papers? I've been keeping an eye out, but so far nothing else has arrived.

Any thoughts? Does it look like you don't get your FICO with the Costco Amex?

Thanks!

I think they may have stopped sending the EX. When I got my Clear back in April 2011, my EX score came in the same envelope. When I got BCE last month, I didn't get the best terms and I also didn't get an EX score. A few others here have had the same experience.

It looks like a form denial letter, and has your credit score and what bureau they pulled on the back. Did you get an approval emai? The letter was also an attachment to the email that said I was approved.

Hello Bich -

It is only required by law that the issuing company give you a "score" if you do not meet the credit requirements for the best terms for the credit product you are applying. So in this case, because the Amex Costco only has one APR available to applicants, you will not get your EX FICO from Amex. Now if there were several tiers of APRs available for the Costco and you didn't qualify for the lowest APR tier, then you would have recieved the EX FICO. Sorry.

Edit: Grammar again.

I got my EX FICO in a letter this past Thursday from Blue Application. The letter said that I was approved and they set my interest rate based off of my Experien credit score. Then on a second sheet of paper was my Experian score and primary negative factors in it. Apparently 2% utilization is too high a ratio between revolving debt and revolving credit limits....whatever. Two of the factors were valid and the latter two seemed like they were just filling empty space on the form. Anyway, the letter didn't even tell me my interest rate, and I have still yet to receive the card.

Bich, I feel your pain. I want my EX Fico sooooo bad. I believe it'd be my highest FICO but I have no way of knowing. I've always wondered why we can't just call the cc company and ask what it is (assuming we app'ed for their card). Anyways hopefully they'll send it to you and it just hasn't arrived yet? I'll have to wait until April or May when I app for the Zync.

I guess I'll find out in a week or two if they actually post a score on my new BCE.

The rep did say I got the best terms, so maybe it won't happen.

So I'm iffy about believing him until I get my approval letter.
