how long does it take to get points from AMEX i have had my zync for almost 3 months now and i have about 11k points but they are all pending

I'm wondering the same thing. Despite pushing over $5000 through my Blue Cash Preferred in the last few months, the last time I had any cash back dollars post on the web site was in December. The account has never been past-due or in any other situation that would warrant withholding the points. My March statement just posted today, so I'm going to wait a couple of days and see if anything changes, but I'm not holding my breath.

Earn first month. Pend second month, Clear third month.

I was wondering the same thing. My first BCE statement just posted so I will expect my rewards to start pouring in in a couple of months then.

Bonus points will post faster, while spending earned points have the extra statement cycle lag.

Like others have said, AMEX reward lags two months. This is because AMEX want you to pay the bill before giving you reward.

Amex holds my points for one statement. My PR Gold statement date is always around the 18/19th of the month. The points for my January statement have posted and the February statement's points are pending. They will post when my March statement cuts later this month.

Got my points today 11k posted and a lot of double points dd counts in rest. Pack

One thing. If you have good payment history and some points pending you can ask them via SM to let you have the points. This worked well when I was 2K points away from a free flight.

i am thinking about getting the PRgold in about a year so i can get better points and then combine them.... i would like it in six months but i guess i need to wait so i can get it

so i contacted AMEX about my missing 2x points. they said there was a "glitch" and i wasnt getting all the points i should have. i dont know if this was just my account or just Zync accounts or all amex accoutns so you all may want to check into your own accoutns.
