For those about to rock their credit scores!!!

Just wanted to make a quick remark about how I have been noticing people really getting some good scores up lately- I still have 2 PFD's to finish negotiating and maybe I can make it right on the line to 700's-

Those off of the top of my head that I can think of- and add yourself to the list if within the last year you have either

had significant change- 20 or more points to Fico w/in past rolling year,
or added due to score increase significant tradelines

Those off the top of my head, and I am NOT MEANING to leave anyone out-

Hi Net Panther,

Thanks to the forums I've been able to raise my scores as follows (almost 100 points each) in the past 6 months as well as add new TL's:

(12/28/07): TU667, EQ674, EX688
(07/07/07): TU578, EQ572, EX583

Your accomplishment is historical! I have never, ever seen an increase like this in 13 months. Heck it's even EX to boot! Phenomenal job!

My changes since July 2007: EQ +98 / TU +96 / EX +78

Jan. 2007: $0 revolving credit

Jan. 2008: $24K revolving credit

I have been up and down with EQ and EX, but I have lost almost 40 points on TU because of an Amex open account. I'm no longer in the TU 800 club, but I have done a great job at reducing util on revolving accounts and increasing my available credit.

I should add availible credit may 1 2007 $2300

Availible credit 1/3/08 29,000 plus a 50K Heloc and an Amex green

The best long term FICO data I have is...

06/17/05 -- EQ440/TU473/EX495

12/28/07 -- EQ618/TU654/EX665

All this with the passage of time and paying down debt -- no extra effort.

Man if I could go up 239 pts in 13 months my EX score would be a 909!! hehe

That is absolutely amazing!!

I don't really have any real boosts but all of my scores increased by at least 37 pts because of the stupid Att collection being removed.

I am thinking by next year I can report some 780+ score that would be at least a 100 pt increase--that should be my new years rez.

My scores are pretty boring at the moment--no movement besides the EX and EQ decrease, of up to 33pts, because of my new shiny Citi card.

2007 was good for me...scores went up when I paid off some debt and I increased my TLs by $75K! My 2008 goal is 777 with every CRA!

just gotta get rid of this last chargeoff & i can just feel that 700 coming in the next couple of months

Thnaks for the nod. I am going to break 760 this year. That is my goal so I can get the best autoloan in the Fall. Also anyone who has questions about being in a DMP and life after, please post and ask.

With the guidance and encouragement of these forums, EQ before and after:

4/18: 599
12/9: 671 (showing higher now, because Sears/ Citi says I'm disputing that account)

EX and TU each around 700, dunno the "befores"

total available credit:

April: $11.2K revolving
now: $52K+ revolving plus $50K HELOC in my name, again due to what I have learned here!
