Advice on CHASE visa platinum pre approval????

hi frnds

I got a prapproved offer for CHASE visa platinum with 0% APR until 01/2009

after that 9.99% APR.

no annual fee

plus other platinum credit card features......

anybody can tell me about this CC,Can I go for it.

how do I know the CL of this CC???

this will b my 2nd CC, if I apply for it now.

I don't have any baddies & just 2 months history with my CCs

but I have been using 2 CCs as an AU since 04/2007.

my first CC was BOA Visa with 7K CL,got it on 12/01/07.

this is my first pre approved offer(from any bank).

yesterday I pulled my free score from www.credit.com it was 710-740

it was not exactly FICO,it was FAKO.

they didn't mention abt the CL in pre approved offer ?usually how much CL do they give ?

Given the changes that will come with the new FICO 08 scoring model (most importantly, the elimination of AU as a basis for scoring), you ought to go out and get this card. Regardless of the credit limit that they will grant you, you will at least secure the credit line and then have two CC's of your own before you lose the benefit of being an AU on the two other cards that you hold.

As far as how much of a CL you will receive, my experience has been that most CC companies don't disclose that in the initial offer. My best guess is that the original mailed offers are based on broad parameters, and so they don't know anything about you other than your FICO score that qualifies you to receive the mailing. It's only after you accept the offer that they actually pull your credit report and comb through it to look for number of delinquencies, debt to income ratio, and all of that. The credit limit on the account would then be based on that deeper inquiry.

If you look at the fine print, there's always a minimum (VERY minimum) limit that the offer guarantees, which is usually $250. Again, though, I stress that since the new FICO scoring model will eliminate any effect of being an AU from your score, it is important that you secure your own lines of credit before this happens - even if it does mean only getting a limit of $250. If you manage the account well, this limit will be increased over time.

BTW just now i checked my score in TU(its not FICO,it's FAKO i think) it was 761.

and my boa cc has a CL of 7k , expecting a better CL from chase.

which one is better applying online / phone??

how do we notify our household income to the CCCs?

in that case I will get this CC easily with a gud CL,

my household income is around 130
