JFCU -- NSA Org

All,

I was approved $10K with JFCU for a Visa Gold, but could not do my cu application until I joined the National Sheriff's Organization. I joined online, but did not get a member #. How long does it take the get your member number from NSA?

you should have rcvd an e-mail w/it. did you pay the $35.00?

also, as of 10/1/07 jfcu instituted a 5k cap w/o 6 months of jfcu membership. they approved me for 25k loc and 25k nsa visa, loan officer chopped both to 5k. some have snuck through, good luck!

also, they have a 40k max unsecured cap. keep this in mind if you app the loc, so you know how you want to allocate it when they ask.

Not sure now ducky. When I log on to my accounts, system now lets me apply for any other loan I desire. At some time back, I was unable to apply for other cc account.

really, maybe they changed back? i think i'll call in the morning and see if i can get a cli.

I haven't used my cc much here ducky, u? Spoke to CSR about cc not reporting on cb. She indicated to me that they only report to EQ. That explains why my loc is showing only with EQ.

i've used it and my loc. cc just hit, loc has started only after i used it. they are hitting tu and eq for me.

I paid the $35 fee...called NSA shortly, and they gave me the membership #. I called JFCU, and they have required docs for me to send back in...they are mailing me the membership application to sign off on.

you can print and sign the application online and send in by USPS will aditional documents....

i purchased a NSA membership for $20. recieved an online confirmation with membership number was approved for 5K, but Two HARD PULLS

i also opened a savings account $50. the CSR said was required.

How did you join the NFCU? I am not sure if i read the membership app correctly, but unless you are a member of the military its kinda diddicult to join... anyone?

I also have NavyFCU Visa... Superb CS also. Love both of those CU. I believe I got better rate with jfcu though.
