WTH, Bureau's dont all get current statement balances at teh same time?

I pulled my experian this morning and saw my current statements posted and a score of 680. Then I just paid for my EQ and TU scores here on myFiCO and got lower scores, then checked and turns out these are not updated to my last CC statement balances (which I just paid off)....

That sucks.

EQ and TU usually update 3 to 5 days after EX. TU is usually the last one to update.

The CRA's get updated information once a month. When they get it varies from card to card. Most will update with you current balance a few days after your statement cuts. Some will update once a month with whatever your outstanding balance is at the time but those are rare. Some update faster than others. Chase in particular is slow to update for me.

TU is infamous for lagging on CC updates. EX and EQ are almost real time 2-3 days after statement closing date.

I wasn't aware this was an issue. I assumed they all updated within a few days of CCCs updating. Keeping accurate, up to date records is kind of the CRAs only job after all.

You can always subscirbe to a 3 in 1 credit monitoring service that allows you to check your credit daily to see when your CR's update. You could also check creditkarma.com to see when your TU updates. Then determine to pull the trigger based off of the activity there.

Thats messed up,I lost over30 dlls. Myfico doesnt care, they.wont let me pull again or get a refund. Thats not.what.I.expected.at all. Next.time I.will.just take my business somewhere else.

It's not myfico's fault. You paid $30 to see your reports and you saw your reports. You learned that the CAs do not update immediately using realtime. You did still see your reports though. The EX score you saw is also not a true FICO.

It may have been a good idea to read through a few posts or use the search function before clicking away, then trying for a refund. I dont want to sound rude--but everyone here that Ive dealt with has been super friendly and helpful. Your last post seems to blame the product for your error.

We are all here for one reason or another, and for many of us it is to admit past mistakes and learn from them by improving our credit. Our actions are not somebody elses fault and the faster we all realize this, the faster we can begin credit rebuilding.

I hope you stick around, keep an open mind, and get to work on your credit. We've all wanted to toss in the towel..and some of us got to a bad place because we did just that a long time ago and are just recovering now.

+1..You ordered a copy of your current report from MyFico and they have provided you a current copy. The product worked as ordered as that is what appears on your report as of the time of order. My recommendation is to get a CRM service that pulls all 3 reports. I personally use USAA CRM. I can pull all 3 reports daily for only $12.25 a month. The scores are FAKO so they are useless, however the reporting piece is excellent. I use MyFico once every 3 to 6 months to see what the scores look likey or depending on a huge change based on USAA CRM. Also you cannot get a real EX score from anywhere outside maybe of your lenders and even most of those use their own version of scoring.

EX seems to update the fastest.

Unfortunately, they also cause the biggest problem in that they have made it difficult for a consumer to get any useful credit score. You have been paying them for a completely useless score that is not used by any lender of any kind.

myFICO gave you a useful TU FICO and a very useful EQ FICO and gave you access to this forum. It isn't their fault that TU and EQ had not updated yet.

Even with the old info, the real scores have to be worth the $30. I suggest you give it 5 days and get updated scores with all the info. Then you are only out $60 total. That seems cheap since the info you have received in this forum has to be worth far more than $60. Maybe you should call them up and offer to give them an extra $100 just to be fair.

I disagree 100%. I didnt pay TU or EQ for a product, I paid myFico. If,they cared for me as a customer they could at least offered to contact EQ or TU on my behalf for a poor service. Yes, a poor service, CR agencies job is to report up to date information, and they didnt. If you all are happy with such service all.I can say is.Im.surprised. To Greg, I can see you.consider this forum a very valuable.resource, in fact I am sure.it.is, but that and the fact that myFico.doesnt follow up with customer.service are 2.different things. And I would.be.glad to hear from you about who provides a real FICO score from EX. thanks.

Use the search function. Then you'd know you cannot get a real FICO for EX. Maybe you would also have known that CR arent updated instantly. Everyone is so used to instant gratification that they cannot even be bothered to check if what they are expecting is possible.

What do you consider to be a reasonable amount of time for them to change reports?

That is like saying you called 411 to find out where the nearest Pizza Joint is and they gave you a correct number and address, however you found out that the Pizza they served was made 2 days ago and you want what??? 411 to call the Pizza Joint and complain that you had poor tasting pizza??? Or its like calling the cable company and complaining that a movie that is showing on TNT has not enough action...A Cable company does not own TNT or made that movie..they are just signal provider and as long as TNT is coming in clear without pixelation that is all they are responsible for.

You paid MYFICO to provide you with a current credit score and current report..they have done both. Just because you feel that a TU or EQ should update sooner that is not MyFico's fault or responsibility. Also each CRA has their own business rules. Nothing is instant..when you purchase something with your credit card you have to wait for transaction to post...when you pay your credit card balance it does not show as Paid and Available right away and when your Credit Card company sends over information to be updated it can take anywhere from 3-5 business days...its not like credit card company makes these posts to your credit report...its a process.

As far as I'm concerned your complaint is with EQ and TU business rules as to how long it takes to update from the time they receive the info from a creditor to the time it appears on your credit. Like the posted said above...you can purchase another report from MYFICO and give it about a week and you can see your score difference at that time.

I have 3 bureau monitoring through USAA. When i was pulling reports every day I looked like creditors report to one credit bureau per day and it typically takes a minimum of three days for all three of my reports to be in sync. Because of my statement and reporting dates, this only happens a few days out of each month....It has been that way since I started monitoring over a year ago.....

Since TU is always the last to update well atleast for me, you could get a free creditkarma account and once your balances update there than you could go ahead and buy your report on myfico...or atleast thats how I would do it if I did have USAA CRM
