I was approved for the Zync last month with the scores in my sig. I have some old baddies (2 CO now ~5yrs old), a couple lates here and there that are getting old as well. I got NPSL, but I'm still a little nervous when I use it in the mall or at a meal lol! I still wonder if I should have tried for an AMEX Green? Oh well, I'm gonna baby this card for 6 months and see where I'm at afterwards. Hope this helps everyone!

I was just approved in October with 2 baddies on my Ex 1 c/o and 1 med bill for $200.00. The c/o was from 7 years ago and the med was from 4yrs ago. 1st I was denied and called the backdoor # and ask me if I had a checking account. I was approved for $500.00. Its a start. My fico score was 664

If you are going higher then Zync, I would be looking at Gold with some of the sign on bonus stuff and regular Member Rewards vs. Express.

Run a test charge for $1000.00 If that is approved you can rest easy on dinner and mall unless you are already charging much higher, Either way I would not stress.

My husband was recently approved for Zync, though it looks like they pulled Experian. Applied for a revolved same day and got declined, said his credit score with experian was 689, so apparently it hadn't updated my last credit card balance yet. Also said balances on cards were too high, so, must have been before Experian updated.

Estimated income for this year is only around $26,000. He got NPSL, but my authorized user card had a $250 limit when I activated it, but went to NPSL after his was activated. SO, now I'm really confused.. lol

Additionally he had 11 inqs, but no other baddies.

They're so pretty and sparkly..

They are known to issue temporary hard limits at first then releasing them once the card is activated so your fine!

There's 4 on one, 2 on another and a whopping 10 (not 11, oops) on the other. Since Experian is his lowest score and the information is identical except for inquiries, I assumed that ugly group of 10 was on Experian. They're all from mortgage or car loan shopping other then the new inq from Amex
