Who does Orchard Bank pull?

Have a family member who is building, but is conscious about inquiries. Is OB a 3-bureau credit puller like Cap1, or do they pull one bureau in particular?

TY...whogavemecredit.com is very difficult to gauge since most posters post all three credit scores and very few mention who they pull. I did see EQ a few times, so maybe that's the bureau.

They've been softing me on Eq for ages. That's your safe bet.

Hmm, interesting. I updated my USAA 3-bureau monitoring service to see who they pulled for me when I got that card last year. Surprisingly enough, I don't have an inquiry from them on any of the CRAs. I applied for a Capital One secured and Orchard Bank card in April of last year. My reports show Cap one pulled all three, but I dont see an inquiry from HSBC/Orchard Bank anywhere. Odd.

They pull EQ exclusively AFAIK. I did a lot of research at one point on that and it while anecdotal I couldn't find anything that suggested they pulled other bureaus. They pulled EQ for me as a Cali resident of all things, so it's a good bet they do it for just about anyone.

I live in Florida. They pulled EQ for me and sp's me about once every 6 months on EQ. (I opened the account in 06')

Orchard is part of the HSBC family so I'm sure in the near future- like Capital One, you will see 3 pulls for an account since HSBC is being transitioned over for the buy out.

+1. SP'd on EQ for the preapproval letter then a hard pull when I did the application and was approved.

They could hit all 3 but more than likely either TU or EQ.
