Today I opened a chat window and requested my Accelerated Amex turn into the 123 cashback Visa. After 3 questions the rep came back and said I should have the Visa very soon.

Weird. I was on BOA's website just a few minutes ago trying to do the same thing...PC to the 1-2-3 Visa. I couldnt get a chat rep though, the message told me that it would be better to call. So I did, and asked the rep if my account was eligible to PC to the 1-2-3 rewards Visa. She said she could do it, and put the request in. But she told me it will take a few weeks for it to change over and for me to get my new card. So I dont know for sure its going to be converted yet, just have to wait it out I guess. Just sharing my experience, thought it was quite a coincidence we were both doing the same PC to get the 123 Visa cashback rewards card.

Same for me. Around 3 weeks for the card to come. It will go through dont worry. I PC from the regular bankamericard to Amex.

Three weeks is about right. You'll slowly start to see your online account change, with your account number changing after the new card has been mailed out.

they PC'd me only only after a few weeks with the student card... i called to ask about it and when i was able to upgrade and they said we could do it now.. said about 2-3 weeks.. called yesterday to see if it went thru and they said yes and you can now start earning cash back... i hope in six months when i request a CLI ill get alot

I product changed a BofA card a while ago and was informed I will lose all current rewards.

Yes. You loose everything. Id rather take the loss of 13 worthless worldpoints in exchange for 3% back on gas.

I requested to convert my BOA card to a 123 cash rewards on 3/8/2012. They said it would be 3-4 weeks. My new card was just mailed 4/7 and I can see the change now on online banking. So prepare for about a month to convert.

I requested a PC when I called to graduate my secured card. I had asked several times in the past and had been told it wasn't possible. This rep said they would be able to do it for me. They put in a request and I received a phone call saying my case had closed and I was granted the PC. I was told my card would be mailed out in about 3 weeks. I asked if I'd get a new account number and was told yes, it would be a new account number.

Account numbers change. Last PC from BoA took 3 weeks total. I ended up having the card overnighted after the online account updated.

I'm going to try to product change an MBNA product to something else within BoA.
