My history..

Filed BK 7 in july 2005 ........AAoA is 5 yrs

I have 6 cards now.........

BB Store card MAX CL of 750.00...balance 0.. opened 4 yrs

chevron 750 CL 0 balance 1 yr

cap one 2000 CL 480.00 balance 4 yrs

Fairwinds CU 2500.00 new

Discover HSBC 1300.00 0 balance 5yrs

Barclay NFL Visa 3000.00 CL ....0 balance)..November 2011

I still have 1 collection... will be there till december 2012 ......

All the rest of my accounts are closed in good standing dating back to 2001....

I have a Best buy store card ( b account extended credit) since 2008..no lates....the 750 CL above..

I wanted to see what Cap one was going to do with this account....I would like to get a credit CL of 5000.00 store card....

(Jealous ...my mother in law and I went into BB and she wanted a card with a 4000.00 limit ......they shot back 10000........WOW

Should I close the plan B account down now and wait till December and reapply and hope to get approved for a new Cap one version of the card or just hold on to it ??

Just wondering how it would hurt my AAoA???

I can live with the little hit for Utlization

I keep mine with the 600 limit and use it once a year for tax prep software
