I append for this card online and was approved for $1250. Called to increase my limit to $20k and I have been on hold for 23 mins! Wonder why.....

Was part of that a typo or did you actually ask for a CLI from $1250 to $20,000 ?? If it was not a typo, there's no reason to wonder why you were on hold so long

Any idea what they were looking at during those 23+ minutes?

Big Congrats! For that type\size of CLI I'd guess they most likely pulled and manually reviewed each CBR, and\or talked to a couple higher level reviewers\supervisors. Very impressive, esp being I think it's backed by Citi.

Thats what I thought as well but all my reports are clean so I was not apprehensive. The only concern I had was i only had one card with such a limit previously but it all worked out well in the end.

I miss HD, I'm over at Lowes these days and they are starting to irritate me... the employees either don't like the place, don't like people or are are not trained to resolve issues AT ALL!!!

congrats on the CLI, i think i would of studdered when I ask for that large of CLI.

Don't get caught in the interest trap by not paying for your large purchases before the zero interest rate period is done, even 10k at 23% would feel pretty damm painful.

I guess Citi and HD are looking forward to seeing large checks from you every month.

Gosh. Wish I would of brushed up on my reading before I applied. Got approved for $5k and store rep called and had it increased to $15k. Funny, because I kept hearing her say not $20k, but $15 total.

Oh well, I'll still take it
