Just wondering, what is the highest CL anyone out there had/have with this card. I had this card, once I start receiving prime cards offer, I close the account. I had this card for 6 yrs and they never went above a 650 CL even after all my scores were 700 and above

I applied last year when I had a 700 just to see if I could get one of their supposedly higher limits. $300...this was before I found this place. Well I was a MyFICO user but not of the forums...

Opened FP account in 2002, closed it in 2004. CL was $400. Good riddance.

shirley, imo it's a sub-prime starter/rebuilder card. You shouldn't expect to see much of any kind of cli.

My mother got her card in 1999. She's never been late but her credit limit is only $850

never had this card had some many fees with it never attempted to obtain it

I've had the card since 1998. Started with $500 limit and a few years ago they raised me to $650. Never received another CLI. My Fico scores are now very good (735, 740, 688TU--cmon and update already), but no increase.

I called them 2 months ago to close my account because my annual fee was coming up. They agreed to waive it, and for now I still have the account open. There are alot of fees with them, but First Premier does help give and rebuild credit...there are worse cards out there in my opinion..
