Why is the store better?

I've been reading that it is better to apply in store than online, WHY??

Well, usually you get a big discount off whatever you are purchasing. Tthat's the enticement.

Because when you are applying in-store you're usually doing so in order to make a large purchase. That of course incentivizes the store to loan you the money as long as you're credit worthy.

It can be better if you're wanting a nice sized discount. It can also be bad because you're scared of rejection. Or maybe that's just me...

It's not just for the discount. A lot of people have relayed the fact that sometimes you are denied or under review for ID purposes... while doing so in person at the store, it's a whole lot more easier to confirm you are who you are and that it's you who is applying. This seems to be the biggest factor when doing it in store.

True statement. I have a VERY common name, so common that my EX CR was messed up and another person with my same first and last name was placed on my CR. Talk about a nightmare. Luckily it was only on EX.
