Credit Limit Increases

I thought it would be cool to have a place to report credit limit increases.

I applied for and was approved for a couple of credit cards.

Walmart (Nov 2012) $250 CL March 2012- CL increase to $700

Orchard (Nov 2011) $300 CL

Capitol 1 Nov 2011) $300 CL

Amazon Nov 2011) $ 600 CL March 2012 CL Increase to $1300

JC Penny (Jan 2012) 700 CL

Discover (Feb 2012) $2000 Cl

Chase $1500->$5000(this one wasn't easy!)

Lowes $1500->$3000

Merrick $2000->$2400 auto

CU Visa secured $900 to $2k unsecured

TJXX Mastercard $800 to $1650

Dillard's Amex $1000 approved to $1200 with card arrival to $1700

Chevron 800 to $1000

Macy's 600 to $900 to $2500

All auto cli's except CU. WE GE TOO

I actually asked for that on accident because I was confused on how they worded what i want. They asked "What is the total amount of the increase you need for your next purchase", I didn;t know how to respond to that at first

Old Navy $400 to $800

Dillard's $500 to $900

and not a CLI but approved for Discover More! First prime card for me

It was instant and with an awesome starting CL of $1700!

I had an US Bank CLI of 5k which was a hard pull.

I had a BOA CLI of 5K which was a hard pull.

I Had a Citi CLI of 3.5K which was a soft pull.

Well I started off like this:

CU Visa - $1000 to $4000 (HP)

Macys - $100, and apparently they bumped me twice without my knowledge to $300 and now $2000 (SP)

Amex BCE - $2k to ? I'll probably request a CLI in 61 days. I'm gonna shoot for $6k when I do. I just got approved Friday

Neither Amazon and Walmart were not hard pulls - and I didnt have to ask for the increases.

HA! My problem is that i've always read tha BOA were soft pulls and US Bank was a mixed bag. The Citi CLI was a soft pull as most have indicated. If I'd known that BOA and UsBank were hard pulls i wouldn't have done them because i really don't need them. Oh well....There's a price to pay sometimes when one is a credit whore....
