Someone may have mentioned this already but I just check my Macy's and Bloomingdale's account statments for April and they both show a credit limit on them.

Sweet, just checked mine and it shows a CL of $1500! I just called to chance my balance a few days ago and the automated system said my limit is 300!

They are reporting the CL on statements and over the automated system, but they haven't started reporting them on CRs yet. Bloomingdales updated my account balance on my latest CR, but didn't include the CL yet. Hopefully they'll get around to that in the next month or so ... I have a 100.00 balance I am going to pay off this month and a 7,900.00 limit that will really help my utilization when it finally reports

Mine started reporting with March statement...I just failed to look for it!

I opened my acct in March and was approved for $300. I was hoping when they got around to establishing my hard limit they would increase it, but nope. My April Statement list it as that..$300. Still hoping for a nice surprise when it hits the credit reports! But they must have approved me with the hard limits already in mind.

Just logged in to Macy's account on line and found that April statement indeed shows CL for me. $2500

I haven't used my Macy's card in a few months, so I don't have any newer statements. Is there another way to check the CL?

Just looked at Statement online and its $10,700.00 CL, same as when they stopped reporting.

Off to "Friends and Family" 25% off including Fine Jewelry! LOL

I have heard of higher!

Opened 2008 - $1k Macy Store / $2k Macy's Visa

Charged $1200, PIF and tried to charge another $1700 I think it was, this was before we were actually told of limit... They would not increase limit but they allowed Charge to go through. Went Elite opening day!

at 3 months, I think it was $3k Store, $5k Visa

6 months CLI to $10k Store, and $10k Visa... I always asked for double current line, and actually she was like why would you need $7500 store which is what I asked for and I said because I want it and she came back after a few minutes and said actually the computer says you can have $10k, would you like that? YES!

Then I got auto CLI to $10700 and Auto CLI to $12k on Visa when my balances was just shy of $10k!!

Also opened furniture line probably 4 months in for $3600 and then 2 years ago I opened a $5600 Furniture line.

They tell me that Major Purchase is sitting with $5k for me now if I like, but don't need anything right now.

I did however take advantage of about $1500 shopping today

I thought it was just me... Macy's finally showed a credit limit on my newest statement from a few days ago of $1500 (up from 300) and I couldn't figure out why it wasn't showing up on my USAA CMS. Anyone know when they will start to report it? I am trying to get my credit score up a little higher before I apply for a credit card I have my eye on and the reporting of this will really help my util.

My Macy's store card (non-AmEx) is still not reporting to CRAs, but when I called in they said I had a $1,500 revolving line (not the same thing as a CL) and that they would start reporting soon.
