I'm in GA and they pulled EX for me. This was 08/2006.

I'm in WA and they gave me a $1000 Platinum MasterCard without pulling any report. Go figure. But I believe they mostly pull TU.

Im in GA they pulled TU in Oct but they have been softing EX

They've pulled TU for my monthly credit score update since late 2002 when I jointed (then Providian).

Nothing from WaMu should report as a consumer finance account since they are a bank. Not sure of what other sub-pfferings they have. A consumer finance conpany would be somethng like Beneficial Finance. In other words finance companies. Sometimes when you purchase furniture or ppliances from retail stores, the purchases are financed through finance companies, these can hurt your report.
