Received my Kohl's card a couple of months ago, only see it being reported by equifax, do they only report to them, or does anyone know if they eventually will report to all 3 CRA's Thanks for your help

I have a Kohl's card and it reports to all 3 credit bureaus. It's not new but the reporting was messed up in April. I paid the balance off in March and only Equifax updated to the zero balance in April. I hope the other two will report the 0 balance this month.

I got a kohls car in April of 2011 first report was April 2012 a year later.

Please let me know if you have any luck in getting them to report because I've been going thru the same exact headache as you since November! Only reporting on EQ but not the other 2. SUX!!!!

I thought I was the only one with this problem. Last Time Kohl's reported for me was in February to all three. Now I just see the balance reporting correctly with Equifax. The other two report old balances. I called the Customer Service number only to be told there is nothing they can do, that they report monthly to all three. I guess tthe only avenue to get it corrected is to Dispute it with CRA's. Kohls will do nothing.

I've been dealing with this issue myself. EX and TU haven't updated since Feb but EQ updated with new balances in March and in April. I've called Kohls 2x trying to get it resolved. They keep telling me it is all good on their end and should be reporting fine. At least the gal I spoke with today was trying to be helpful ... it would be just nice to get this resolved since my utl on that one card is showing almost 50%!

Same issue here. I paid the entire balance off, EQ is updated to $0, but TU still has balance from Feb reported. I don't have access to EX to check.

Oops, did some searching, found out Kohls used to be handled be Chase? I burned them too, so the automatic decline back in March makes sense. It looks like they switched as of April 1st to Capital One. I'll have to app again in a couple months. Their coupons just work out to be a really good deal with the card if it's stuff you have to buy anyways. That's probably also why they haven't been reporting correctly, probably some mistakes made during the transition.

Are they still being handled by Cap One or still GE?

I was thinking of getting their card sicne I do shop there often.

I know someone else who had you exact same problem. I had them do a dispute on the balance reporting on TU and EX. Experian has updated balance to 0. Still waiting on TU to do something, but I assume that the dispute will correct it. Do it through the online system and think of it this way. You will get free updated report once they correct error.

@CS, if I didn't work @ Belk, I would have their card and shop there exclusively. They have a decent selection and their return policy is pretty solid. I have a co-worker who can more than afford to shop where ever she likes, but is a die hard loyalist to Kohls..and I like word of mouth advertising.
