New discover More CC

To all the Discover CC holders,

I just go the Discover More card (1.5K Limit), could you please advise me how to use the card to recieve the fastest auto CLI. I heard of people reciving it in as little as 3 months. As in should I show a small balance on the statement, should I pay in full before statement cuts, how much to charge in a month........etc

Please advise.....my goal is to get all my CC's to atleast 5 K and apply for the BCP & CSP in a year or so.

I am surprised they did not match your chase Freedom, which card did you have first Chase or Discover?

I'd set my utilities for auto-pay on the Discover card for the 2% cashback.

I'd also use the card for the 5% cashback rewards for the quarter.

If what you are interested in is CLI's, did I would just say that you should put everything that you can on the card. But you might be missing out on cashback from the Freedom for doing so, specially if you have a checking with them as well.

oh ok well I just recently got a Discover card for 2k same as my Freedom so I will keep an eye on this thread

Not an easy road seeking a Discover CLI...and not before 6 months.

Yeah, I think Discover is not very liberal about giving CLI's.

I got one from them after 6 mos of having the Discover More, but it was only a $500 increase. However, I didn't ask for it, they just gave it to me.
