I got my AMEC BCE back in Feb, but I havent done the 61 day CLI yet. I had a balance that I paid off this Fri and its already showing that my balance is $0. My due date is May 2nd. Should I wait until my next statement cuts or should I go ahead and try to get a CLI?

You can do it now... lots of people miss the 61 days by 2 or 3 days and get declined and then figure out that it's 2 days away and go back in 3 and do it again and get approved.

So to my understanding, Amex let's you request for CLI on your 60 day mark? I thought it was abouut 6 months with every lender.

just the number onthe back of your card, theres a option for CLI, i thing 3x your exisitng limit is the norm but the system cant go over 25k. my starting limit was 7500 i think. when i did my CLI i asked for 20k and was appooved. by far my highest CL ~~

It's a SP.

Got mine coming up in a few days. Heard it was 61 days from account opening. I opened mine on a 03/02/2012, but that was a Friday at 10 PM, so I'm probably going to wait 63/64 days for good measure.
