Amazon Store Card Approval

I just wanted to share that I was in the process of purchasing an alarm system on Amazon.com the other night and I saw that they had 6 months interest free via Amazon.com credit card. I applied and was instantly approved for $900.00. I am unsure of what all my Fico scores are but I can tell you that my Equifax Fico is at a 639 and that I have several unpaid collections. I was also just approved for a Target card that I applied for at checkout. Target gave me a 300.00 CL.

I have been working on my husbands credit and we are set to close on our home this coming Friday. Now I am starting to deal with my report which should prove to be much easier. We just paid three charged off accounts and my collections are very small.

Congrats, I love the card for the financing! I started with this card almost two years ago with a $500cl and now it is at 1300k I think.

Ohhhh no... I applied using my credit not his. He is the only one on the loan : )

Congrats on Amazon... I just got it too, I actually have not even got first bill and I'm scared to even look at current balance... I have kind of always been a lover of Amazon, for one now 2 locations I have lived in had a Amazon Warehouse within the state so I get packges over night even when I'm doing free super-saver.

2nd have you all checked out the new "Subscription" program they have... You set up how often you want to get something and it just re-orders each time, you get free shipping matter what and 15% off... the best part is you could order it once and cancel, it tells you about 1-3 days before shipment so you can go in and tell it to skip or change how long, you can go in and place additional order if you want it sooner, etc.

I love amazon. I spend more there on merchandise than just about anywhere else. I applied for the amazon visa in Jan... got the 7_10 day message; and then apped for the store version and was approved. I got the visa on recon. I love having the.store.card available for the 0% promos. And I like getting 3% rewards for every dollar spent at amazon. My finance and I both have kindles so all of our book purchases go on the visa.

I agree that the Amazon store card is great for 0% APR financing (best benefit IMO). They also run super sales (one day events) targeted at their store card members.

I just wanted to add that Amazon is already reporting to all three of my credit bureaus!!!! applied on the 8th and the account is now reporting as of the 10th : )

My Amazon card has given me stellar service since I got it and my CL has increased nicely

When my old TV died I bought an entire home theater system through Amazon. Instead of dividing my 0% terms between two different time frames, which they could have done since only the TV was eligible for 24 months, they gave me the entire package for 24 months. It does have a very high interest rate, but the 0% always makes it a worthwhile choice

They did have a downside when you could not make MP3 purchases with your store card, but that is no longer the situation. Yet they automatically made the store card my choice for one click purchases (MP3s) and it took me forever to navigate through their site to change that.
