AmEx BCE CLI!

Got my BCE back in August with an initial limit of $2,000. 61 days later, increased it to $6,000. Just called today, 6 months and 1 day later, to attempt another increase. I tried $18,000, and they countered for $16,800! I don't like not having a round number, but still can't complain about the limit, especially since this time last year I had only $2,000 in total available credit, and now I have $29,800!

Amazing considering I've had my Chase Amazon for 2 years and still stuck at the paltry $1,000 I started at.

I wonder if its your credit score or your Income that gets you Amex big CLI?

What kind of $$$ were you running through it every month....I meant every week if you don't mind me asking. Really nice CLI'S.

Jtellez5, I pulled my EQ a couple of months ago and had a 756. My EX was 748 when I got my AmEx in August. Income is about the median US income.

Brian_Trying_700, I typically put about $700ish a month through it. Some months higher than others. 4 biggest catagories are cell phone bill, car insurance, groceries and gasoline (and groceries and gas are only about $100ish each)

Congrats! Did you apply through the automated system or online? I'm coming up on my 6th month in a few days...
