Discover Open Road Application Status

Hey MyFico,

I received a mail invitation for the discover open road credit card the other day and applied. After applying it said i need further processing, and to call or check the application status webpage, so I checked it, and it said to upload a proof of address document, which I did. Now when I look at the application status page, it keeps telling me to upload a proof of adress document, despite having already done it, and received a reference number. Is this just something it automatically generates, or should I call customer service to check if it actually worked?

I just got approved for a Discover More 2 days ago, the second card I applied for that day. After filling in the online app it said I was under review and would know in X days. So I called the number listed on the website, very very busy number. I called a backdoor number on the sticky list and they forwarded me to a senior credit analysis who asked me about 6 questions and then approved me for 4k. The card will be here by Wed Always nice to talk to a real person so you can answer any questions directly.
