Auto CLI from Barclay!!!!!

Hey everybody! Hope all is going well in your credit journeys today. Just wanted to give a heads up on this CLI I just received from Barclay. This happened exactly on the 6 month mark. My util is still also a little higher than I would like (60%). I've been charging a few things and babying this Itunes Rewards card and I checked my EQ yesterday and saw that Barclay took my limit from $1500 to $2700! I didn't ask for the CLI, and I don't plan on doing that for any of my cards this year. Oh yeah, I applied for and received an AMEX Zync within the scary Barclay "trial period", but YMMV.

Yeah, it was the same day. I wasn't expecting that. I even had a balance of like $550 on it.

oh ok, I opened my account on 11/22 had 6 statements already but the 6th one I was not yet at 6 months so maybe my next statement I will see something or maybe not

I wonder if they will give CLI on accounts that received recon increases when they were first opened.

also, was the card paid off when they gave the CLI? if not how much was on it? If you dont mind me asking.

John, we opened at the same time. Look like we're in the same position. I keep logging in hoping for a CLI. So far, no dice. I also have a hunch that it might have to do with whether or not we reconed our CL when we were approved. But hope springs eternal.

Thanks, yeah I did a recon increase that took me from $750 to $1500 the same day I got approved. The rep was very nice, asked me about a couple old baddies and got the cli approved.

I was initially approved for $1200 did a recon for 2k , thanks for the best wishes

I got a 6 month CLI from Barclays for my Travelocity AMEX. It went from $500 to $1200. Not a huge increase but its better than nothing considering I have an unpaid judgement on my credit report.
