I needed to install new carpets a couple of months ago, and wound up carrying a balance as a result. I was reminded by the Mrs. that Caital One, which was 7.99 fixed for life, is now 17.99. A quick call and I got it reduced to 11.99 for seven months. Wow. What have you done for me lately? Wife was p/o'd since I had them all paid off. Oh well, a month or so I'll have it cleaned up (I pay weekly) just curious if there were any card with single digit rates? I mean, paper is cheap today.

Current Score-807 Beacon

Past Score-719

Goal-820

Just because the federal interest is low doesn't make credit card lenders any less greedy. Barclay Ring is single digit but other than that you need to look into credit union cards.

I knew I opened up a checking acount at a local credit union for something? Actually I was liking their used car (2.9%) rates. They have a Visa Platinum at %8.74, no annual fees, and lots of free stuff! Thanks!

Bunch of 0% for x months from major issuers. If looking for long term, then look for credit union card. Mine is 7.2% apr with rewards and basically no fees (af, bt, ca, etc.). Let me know where you are located and any organizations you are part of and maybe can suggest cu you for. Penfed is 9.99% and 4.99 for bt with bt fee.
