Will my Walmart FICO not update till next month? I just rcvd the card and set up my account on June 4th. My FICO is still reflecting that date.

Mine was a 10 point jump from last month. 662 to 672.

I received the upgrade to Walmart Discover on the 28th of the April and immediately signed up for online statements and got my score. The following month (about two weeks later), I also receive updated scores.

Mich,

Did you upgrade from regular Walmart to Walmart Discover? Was that a new HP and did it retain all the account information (ie open date)?

Crashem, it was an auto upgrade. The pluses were that the CL went from 800 to 2000 and it was no hard pull. The down side was that I lost the age on the original account. I have the benefit of an excellent payment history as a closed account that will remain for 10 years.

Basically two accounts are on my credit report, one open (the Walmart Discover) and one closed (the Walmart.)

Since I was up I had to check my score. I went from 658 to 675!! I'm so excited and I am so thankful for finding these forums. Can anybody tell me how to copy a snapshot of my score (for future reference when it's really worthy of showing).

MIne dropped from 811 to 783! Ouch! New accounts showing so it lowered my AAoA. It's probably going to drop a little more when next month the Barclays HP shows up. Oh well, it will come back in a few months and I'm not seeking any more credit in the near future. All my CRs are frozen now.
