US Bank Cash+ card -- UPDATE

I just received my new Cash+ card in the mail today, exactly one week after my initial call to request a PC from my FlexPerks card. All of my requests were granted to me.

The new card retained the same account number along with verification stating that my CL was still 12K. The expiration date is also the same as my old Flexperks card. I am happy that it is all the same, except for the change to the Cash+ logo. I hope this info helps those of you who are considering this card.

I got mine yesterday, which was also a PC from a Flexperks card. I have a DIFFERENT account number, the same 15K CL, and the same expiration date as the old card. Does yours show a CL in your online banking? Mine doesn't, and either the system hasn't been updated (per a CSR conversation) or it's going to turn into a "flexible spending card" that only reports high balance.

I insisted on retaining my original account number along with all other aspects of my old card. The CSR said the new card would remain the same and I am glad it did. My CL has been taken off of my online accounts page however, I pulled my EX report this morning and the 12K is still showing there. The CSR said that the credit limit on line would be removed in case I needed to go over the limit. I am not so sure about that statement, but, I am not planning on doing that. She did tell me that the CL would be reported to the CB's. I am just happy that I kept the same account number and the 3 yr history on it. Did you ask if you could keep your original acct number?

Edit -- I just took a closer look at the page that had the card on it and it states that I have a "revolving" limit of 12KK

No, I didn't ask about keeping the same acct number. It doesn't matter to me unless they added a new account, which they said won't happen.
