Surprise!!!! I got my US bak Cash+ Visa Signature Card today!!!!

I didn't call to check the status of the application. I didn't know I got approved. It showed up in my mail box. It was surprise. I Haven't had too much with banks and credit unions lately. I got US Bank Visa Signature Card Card for $8K and 16.99%. I thought I wasn't getting approved. By the way, it didn't come with EXP FICO score with the letter. It came into two separate mailings. One was the card and the guide of the card and the terms.

Ron - congrats! I knew you woud get the card.

Now I am not sure what to do. I just got a Southwest Siggy Visa and am concerned about a decline for this card...

Really, this would be a nice card to have, still have to think on it a bit.

I thought they were going to denied me due to excessive inquiries. Six months ago, I got denied for Key Bank World MC because of it. It is issued by Elan Financial Services (aka. US Bank). I don't think you have any problem to get the card. I heard they pulled EXP online and EQ inside the branch. I couldn't go inside the branch to apply for it because they don't have any branches over here.

They don't have instant decision for the card. You have to wait 7 to 10 days for decison. I was so afraid. I didn't want to call the 800 to check the status. I think it is very easy to get approved. Many people got approved for the card. It think you should go for it before they tight things up.

Okay - I applied and got the 7 to 10 day message. I applied jointly with my wife. So, we will wait to see what happens. It would be quite nice to have this card but I am concerned we will be declined due to INQ's. If so, that's fine.

Now the waiting game starts! I'll let you know what happens.

You got 7-10 day messages. It is normal. No one got instant approval. You have to call (800)947-1444 to check the status. I got more than 5 inquries when I applied. I think you will get the card. I heard people with BK getting approved too.

I didn't want to apply for the card. I was afraid they were going to denied my application. I heard from other forum and some guy got approved with BK. I think it is very easy to get. You would want to apply for it before they tight it up. How's your credit history?

I don't want to apply for any more card after this. There isn't any good card to get .

In the past year I've rebuilt myself to whats in my current signature. My issue now is the large number of inquiries because my credit is so new, AND I had a flurry of inquiries surrounding my car purchase in January.

You do a good job to rebuild your credit history. How many inquiries do you have? I think car loan inquiries count as one within 30 days. I think you still have a chance to ge the card. You might get the Platinum instead of Signature Visa.

ok. What is the age of the oldest account? How long ago was your auto loan inquiries? May I ask you what is the amount of the auto loan? I asked you beause they will look at everything before they approve you the card. AAOA 2.8 yrs is pretty good. Do you know what's your EXP score?
