my NFCU card is pretty

My first statement cuts July 17th so got to make sure it is at 10% on that date. It's a very pretty card and the rep told me I could earn more points by shopping the member mall. She said they have several large retailers they work with like Walmart or Target. (Cap1 confirmed reciept of deposit and say my card goes out 2 weeks after deposit.) Why is this all so exciting, LOL

Congrats; which nfcu card design did you get?
My nfcu card is quite ugly but I like the rewards and the knowledge of what's behind those magical raised numbers.

I got the pretty blue secured nRewards card. I wish their cash card had this design lol, I think that's the next one I plan on after building some history with them. Which one do you have?

Ive got the cash visa card and my husband has the platinum mastercard. His card is way prettier. His came in handy in Canada as a lot of places didn't take visa. Also; Sam's

club does not take visa credit card or amex. They only take visa debit; mastercard; and discover

joey wanted Iwo jima design but it came as the basic platinum design and we didn't bother changing

The platinum one, nice. I'm really trying to determine the best NCFU card for me. I chose MC too because I shop Sam's. I love cash back but wonder if there is one that offers more cash back then the cash rewards one?

Your scores are increasing quite well! For your mortgage you'll need at least 3 positive tradelines You'll likely be in line for an unsecured product with nfcu within 4-6 months with.good use and payment history. They were extremely generous.with my husband considering he had a citi card chargeoff that was settled march.2012.

Mine is the Platinum one, mine is a Visa Platinum though why dose it seem like lately the Platinum cards are Mastercard?

The cash one is nice cause you can redeem when your.rewards balance is at $20 instead of waiting tip its at $50 like discover makes you do.

I'm hoping the 3rd tradeline will be an unsecured card with them, I''ve seen someone here qualify in 3-4 months for an unsecured NFCU so we'll just have to see what happens to my scores when these hit my report. I wish the cash card came in another color LOL

I know rite! It was odd; we were totally thinking it.would be a visa. It worked out good though because I didn't have a MC at all and it saved us a.few.times already. Once at Sam's and once in Victoria; BC I bet they could issue you either one if you were totally against one or the other

Joey applied online... we wrote the preference in the box for card design. Also his approval came on tuesday. The application was submitted on a saturday

Joey actually never uses any card except for zync. We just got the plat. To help rebuild and to do a BT from a higher Apr card. His plat has an 11% apr with no BT fees

This board always talks about how great the zync is. Is it just because it's AMEX or are the rewards great?

For me zync is great because the balance that posts does not.impact my overall utilizatiin. I travel a lot for work and travel items were routinely maxing out my discover card until I got zync. My balance on zync last month was 5147 and the fact that it posted didn't hurt me at all. I got zync to help my.cash flow. Also zync makes you PIF so you eliminate the potential to dig yourself into debt.

We use it heavily. We've spent 15700 with zync since acquiring it at the end of Feb.

Yes it is a NPSL charge card that gets paid in full every month and fico does not count the balance on charge cards when calculating your overall utilization. Imagine that you have income of 15k per month and you have two mortgages about 1500 each; rent for an apartment. tudent loans; 3 vehicle loans and up to 5k in reimbursed work expenses going through your checking account each month
