I bought a new MacBook Pro last year and took advantage of the one year 0% APR. My CL $2250. My deferred financing was ending on 7/5, and I paid the account in full a couple of days ago. No lates, returned payments, etc. Today I logged into my account (suspecting something like this would happen) and my new CL is $1k. I'll be calling tomorrow to close the account.

Leave it open. The 0% financing at Apple may come in handy again in the future if you decide you want an IPad or Time Capsule or something along those lines. They may increase the limit again once the new accounts age a little. I briefly had a similar experience where they decreased my ITunes Visa limit for a three months and then ended up increasing it to more than what it was before the decrease. It was very strange. I think the response I was given when I called was that my spending pattern was irregular (it was around the holidays and I was buying Christmas gifts and then making weekly payments so I wouldn't carry a balance). Three months later, they restored the original amount and then some. Since there is no AF, you might as well leave it open and see what happens. It certainly won't hurt your credit score to keep it open.
