Chase Blacklist over looked by Chase Executive Office.

Applied for a Chase Saphire Prefered...730 or so Fico...5% Util..No detogs...5 Inquiries last 6 months...20 plus tradelines 12 open at application time...AAOA 2 years. Received denial letter for a Chase card I defaulted on about 11 years ago. Called the Executive Office...They asked me a few questions...Called back the next day and approved me for their minimum line of 5K. Their Executive office seems to really be helpful now a days. Nice to know their blacklist isnt firm and un- forgiving.

Nice, congrats! What are your current CLs? I really want to apply for the CSP too, but I currently have very low limits and think I may need to go with Freedom and PC in a year?

When I started an app spree a few weeks ago I did have a PenFed at 20K but the next card was 4K and then less than 2K...After App spree I have 8 cards at 5K or higher.

same thing happened to me...was denied and than made the call and next day approved for 5K disney premier card...Just tried to app with BOA..they still will not approve with a BK reporting...I think some of the underwriting standands have eased up a bit

Old account... never paid them and forgot She even had it...Lost her job during 911 which killed her credit back then..She was already struggling.
