How to make online payments while enrolled in AMEX autopay??

I've made an online payment not too long ago, but it seems now that I have enrolled in autopay that I can't just make payments when I want to. Am i missing something?

I have the Zync 500 w/autopay setup. I try to use it as my debit card and push payments through it.

Well nevermind I got it figured out...i keep forgetting AMEX customer service is 24/7.

I called and the lady explained to me what was going on. Since i added a new bank account recently they wait one billing statement to go through before you can make all the multiple payments you want. So she said come July 13th that I can make all the payments my little heart desires.

I'm the same way, and Amex CS said I'm always welcome to call them and make free payment over the phone.

+1. AMEX is very good about making it easy to give them their money..

yeah she said i could make payments over the phone if i couldn't wait to make payments, but i told i was just more curious than anything.

Yes you have to wait a few days inbetween payments!

I just applied for Amex as well. However I've used iPhone Amex app to make 2 payment before the first bill cycle already. didn't know that when enrolling in auto-payment.
