Lowe's Credit Card

Does anyone know which CRA Lowe's uses to pull your credit. Is is Transunion? I am thinking of applying for a card once my escrow closes. My TU is 675 and EQ is 671. I am hoping it is not EX! I think it is about a 640. Let me know what your experiences have been in gaining this card. I want to purchase a new refrigerator. Thanks!

In April this year they pulled TU for my hubby's card we are in southern AZ

These days they are mostly TU all the time. If you already have a GE-backed account, they may pull a different bureau but seems to be pretty few and far between looking at the various databases since they stopped their always pull EQ back in 2008 apparently.

You can get an idea if you will be approved for a Lowes card without wasting an inquiry by going to a local store and finding a sales associate half way interested in speaking with you. Tell them you are thinking of making a few purchases and are interested in a Lowes card but not sure. They can access Quickscreen, make sure you provide them with an address that you are sure is connected to your credit report as well as a phone number. The system will do a soft inquiry and come back with an offer, if it doesn't come back with an offer it could mean the system could not find you.
